Jamaican Bobsled Team crowdfunding to get to Sochi 2014

The Jamaican Bobsled team has qualified for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. However, they will need the public’s help to get them there.

The infamous Jamaican Bobsleigh Team first gained fame during their debut in the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary, Alberta, Canada #CoolRunnings

So far, they have raised $11,893 USD on their Indiegogo Campaign and $24, 764 USD on Crowdtilt. Click here  and here to see the both Campaigns respectively.

How Can You Help?

Be apart of this excitement by making your contribution as they try to reach their goal and ultimately gold at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.  Help their team raise 80,000 USD to compete in what is promised to be an historic event. They are taking any donation amount $1 and up…”every mickle make a muckle” (every penny counts).

While I was on Twitter today, a tweet caught my eye. Naturally, I was curious and had to click on the link. What I discovered was a local business, called the Chip Shack, located on #4 Lower Prince Street, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (PEI) is crowdfunding for needed upgrades to her waterfront location.
